THE BASICS
Gates for the event on Saturday, Sept 23 will open at 4 PM. You MUST be ready to serve NO LATER than 3 PM, when we secure our event grounds.
The Destination is located at 1705 W. Industrial Ave in Midland.Â
DAY-OF-SHOW LOAD-IN & SET-UP (SEPT 23)
Load-in window day-of-show is between 10 AM-1 PM. Spaces will be assigned on a first-arrived basis. It is recommended that food trucks be able and ready to serve by 1 PM to accommodate our staff and crew for lunch, but MUST be ready to serve NO LATER than 3 PM.Â
FOOD TRUCK TICKETS PROTOCOL
Our staff, crew, performers and VIP patrons will have food truck tickets to redeem for a meal, excluding a drink, that will be valued at $15. Our team will settle with you at the end of the night for the value of each valid food truck ticket you redeemed. Tickets MUST be intact, meaning not torn, and only tickets valid for this year’s event will be paid out. $15/ticket flat will be paid out for each valid ticket. Sales tax will not be paid on top of the $15 value.Â
LOAD-IN & SET-UP ON FRIDAY, SEPT 22 (OPTIONAL)
If you choose, you may load-in and set-up on Friday evening. You should call Martin Salazar at 432-210-6162‬ in advance to make arrangements if you plan to do this.
FOOD TRUCK COURT CONFIGURATION
The area where the food truck court will be in located is on Industrial across from the railroad tracks. Click HERE to see map. The Court will be set up with food trucks around the perimeter on both sides to create space in the middle for patrons.Â
A light tower will be provided to illuminate the food truck court area after dark.Â
VENDING PROVISIONS
You MUST supply your own generator power, tables, chairs, water and any other items necessary and essential to the operation of your booth.
PLEASE NOTE: TCBF does NOT supply a continuous water source. It is also recommended that you bring your own ice, if necessary, however, ice may be purchased on site from The Destination as a back-up resource.
ARMBANDS
Each food truck booth includes four (4) armbands. Additional armbands required to cover workers can be purchased at $20/each.Â
FOOD TRUCK COURT PROMOTION
The food truck court will be open and accessible to the public from Industrial, so you are welcome to promote your location on your social media, so you can still serve your normal customers without them needing a ticket for entrance to the event.Â
NOTE: The entrance to the event from the food truck court is a re-entry gate only and will be monitored for armband access.Â
FOLLOW-UP
You will receive an email from Tall City Blues Fest (email: helpdesk@tallcitybluesfest.com) the week of the event to advise you of these procedures and any other info you may need to know as a food truck vendor.Â
